DIGITAL PRINTING Generally has a faster production time than offset. Copies are meant to get the message out quickly and are used for time sensitive materials. The printing sits on top of the paper and can flake off when the paper is folded or creased. However if you need variable printing, copies are the answer.
| OFFSET PRINTING Done on a printing press with ink that is absorbed into the paper, has a longer shelf life. This is best for information that is not expected to change, such as letterhead, envelopes or forms. There is no danger of the words flaking of from folding or creasing.
